MCU-College of Medicine conducts a Thanksgiving Celebration for the New Centralino Doctors.


Manila Central University unceasingly honored its newly-licensed Doctors during the "College of Medicine Thanksgiving Celebration" last January 18, 2023, at Helix Auditorium.


In this remarkable feat, the institution acknowledged the commitment and passion of the MCU-College of Medicine (COM) for achieving its PAASCU Accreditation and producing holistic doctors through MCU's Doctor of Medicine program.


The Chair of the Department of Family and Community Medicine, Dr. Maria Leonora B. Raboc, led the occasion with an opening prayer. It was followed by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Dr. Maria Lilybeth R. Tanchoco, and the University President, Mrs. Luningning T. Estanislao, who delivered an insightful and uplifting message for the doctors.


"I would like to thank the College of Medicine for achieving PAASCU Accreditation and producing Centralino Doctors of Medicine. All of this demonstrates the university's commitment to continuing the path of continuous improvement in all of its academic policies, standards, and guidelines that are consistent with our institutional values and principles and benefit our students," said University President Mrs. Luningning T. Estanislao.


Furthermore, the Vice President for Academic, Dr. Angelo Maduli, the Medical Director of MCU-FDTMF Hospital, Dr. Rommel F. Galvez, the Chairs, and the Faculty of COM offered a heartfelt message in response to the Honorees.


Correspondingly, in appreciation for the department for its Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities (PAASCU) re-accreditation for five-year last December 1, 2022, the Vice President for Planning and External Affairs, Dr. Renato C. Tanchoco, Jr. and the Vice President for Academic, Dr. Angelo Maduli led the presentation of Certificates and Tokens.


The thanksgiving celebration continues with a Holy Mass led by Rev. Fr. Kennedy A. Neral, PhD., as a response of gratitude to the Almighty for His grace to the university. Afterward, the Head of the Medical Education Unit, Dr. Arthur T. Magboo, concluded the ceremony with a closing remark. 


As the thanksgiving celebration ends, Manila Central University-College of Medicine continues its pledge to provide educational effectiveness as it exemplifies this remarkable achievement.
