Manila Central University (MCU) explored opportunities for international collaboration during a visit to Universiti Antarabangsa MAIWP (UniMAIWP) in Malaysia on August 7, 2026.
The meeting was conducted in a hybrid format, with MCU’s on-site delegation represented by Ms. Mary Grace C. Antioquia, Director of the External Affairs Office, and Dr. Karina Marie Batu-Villena, Dean of the College of Pharmacy. The on-site meeting was complemented by a Zoom session, which enabled representatives from MCU’s College of Medical Technology and School of Business Management to actively participate in the discussions.
The visit served as a productive platform for both institutions to strengthen their growing academic partnership, explore potential areas of collaboration, and identify opportunities for future joint initiatives in education and internationalization.
Through discussions and exchanges, MCU and UniMAIWP explored ways to create meaningful opportunities that can benefit students, faculty members, and their respective academic communities while strengthening connections between the Philippines and Malaysia.
The engagement reflects MCU’s continued commitment to expanding its international network and building academic partnerships that support global learning, knowledge exchange, and institutional development.
Through collaborations with international institutions such as UniMAIWP, Manila Central University continues to create opportunities for its academic community to connect, learn, and engage beyond borders.
