The Manila Central University was awarded by the Commission on Higher Education the safety seal for several of its programs. This was granted after meeting all of the CHED requirements. The seal confirms that MCU meets the government’s minimum public health standards. This also demonstrates compliance with CHED DOH JMC No. 2021-004, or the Guidelines on the Implementation of Limited Face-to-Face Classes for all programs of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), in areas under Alert Levels System for COVID-19 Response.
Among the programs approved to conduct limited face-to-face classes are Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Dental Medicine, Doctor of Optometry, Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
