On September 23, 2024, Manila Central University proudly signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Owndays Philippines, a prominent eyewear brand from Japan.
Owndays stands out in the eyewear industry, boasting over 500 stores across 13 countries, with 76 branches in the Philippines alone. Renowned for managing the entire process from design to retail, the brand has established itself as a leader in providing quality eyewear solutions.
The MOU signing event brought together key representatives from both organizations, highlighting the commitment to work collaboratively in enhancing educational and professional experiences.
From MCU, the delegation was led by Dr. Renato C. Tanchoco Jr., President, along with Dr. Donnie Y. Saludes, Vice Dean of the College of Optometry; Dr. Victor D. Dorongon, Dean of the School of Business and Management; Ms. Grace Belleza D. Alcala, Director of Student Affairs and Services; and Ms. Kathleen A. Tanchoco, Career Planning Officer.
