MCU-College of Arts and Sciences: Celebrating 78 Years of Learning Mastery and Innovation


Manila Central University-College of Arts and Sciences celebrated its 78th anniversary with a grand and exciting two-day event last March 3 and 4. With the theme "Creating Pathways for Learning Mastery and Innovation," the occasion was magnificent.


The celebration showcased a variety of exciting and informative activities that catered to the diverse interests of students and faculty. From the competitive CentrAlimpics E-Sports tournament and the challenging Quiz Bee to the inspiring Environmental Awareness Seminars and Research Presentations, culminating with the elegant CAS Night, this celebration had it all.


The event's highlight was the captivating seminar on Urban Greening delivered by the guest speaker, Mr. Lemuel L. Tolosa, Ecosystem Management Specialist II of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources. His talk was an eye-opener and inspired the audience about the importance of sustainability and environmental conservation.


The event served as an opportunity to honor the achievements and contributions of the College's faculty, staff, and students, who have all played a significant role in making the College what it is today.
