Manila Central University (MCU) was recognized by the Veterans Memorial Medical Center (VMMC) during the 36th VMMC Operation Lifeline Awards and Recognition Ceremony, held on November 18, 2025.
MCU received the Gawad Pagkilala Award in appreciation of the University’s valuable contribution to VMMC’s Operation Lifeline Blood Donation Program for the years 2024–2025. The award highlights MCU’s active participation and sustained support for initiatives that help ensure a stable blood supply for patients in need.
Operation Lifeline is a flagship program of VMMC that promotes voluntary blood donation through partnerships with institutions and communities. MCU’s involvement reflects the University’s commitment to social responsibility, community engagement, and health advocacy.
