Manila Central University (MCU) officially received the hosting responsibilities for Universities and Colleges Athletic League (UCAL) Season 9 during the UCAL Turn-Over Ceremony held on May 30, 2026, at New Fortune Mansion Seafood Restaurant.
During the ceremony, University President Dr. Renato C. Tanchoco, Jr. formally accepted the hosting duties from Centro Escolar University, the host institution of the previous season.
The turnover marks an important milestone for MCU as it prepares to welcome participating institutions, student-athletes, coaches, and league officials for the upcoming season. As host, the University will play a key role in coordinating activities and supporting the successful conduct of UCAL Season 9.
UCAL continues to serve as a platform for athletic excellence, sportsmanship, teamwork, and character development among student-athletes from member institutions.
With the hosting responsibilities now officially entrusted to MCU, preparations are underway to ensure a meaningful and successful UCAL Season 9 for the entire collegiate sports community.
