Manila Central University proudly congratulates Dr. Maria Alicia T. Camacho, Vice Dean of the College of Dentistry, on her election as Speaker Pro Tempore of the Philippine Dental Association (PDA) House of Delegates.
The election took place during the 117th Philippine Dental Association Annual Convention and Scientific Session. Dr. Camacho secured the position through an overwhelming vote from the delegates of the House, composed of chapter presidents and official representatives from various PDA chapters and affiliate organizations throughout the country.
A respected leader in the dental profession, Dr. Camacho currently serves as Vice Dean of the MCU College of Dentistry and President of the MCU Alumni Association. She is also a Past President of the Manila Dental Chapter and heads Katuwang, the volunteer organization of the College of Dentistry that leads various community outreach initiatives.
Her election to one of the key leadership positions within the PDA House of Delegates reflects the confidence of the national dental community in her leadership, professional expertise, and commitment to service.
