Manila Central University proudly participated in the DICT–Huawei ICT Academy Kick-Off held on April 24, 2025, at the Huawei Philippines Exhibition Hall in BGC, Taguig City. This event marked the official launch of a strategic partnership between the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and Huawei Philippines, aimed at enhancing digital competencies through industry-recognized ICT certifications.
Representing MCU were Dr. Renato C. Tanchoco, Jr., University President; Ms. Mary Grace C. Antioquia, Head of the External Affairs Office; and Engr. Nina Ciela Florentino, Program Chair of BS Computer Science and BS Information Technology.
The kick-off event introduced the ICT Academy’s goals and offerings. Participants were briefed on the certification exam process, enrollment procedures, and opportunities for upskilling in digital technologies.
MCU is honored to be part of this initiative that aligns with the university’s commitment to providing future-ready education and advancing digital literacy among its community.
