Manila Central University (MCU) welcomed Mr. Mikka Tirronen, PhD, Counsellor of Education and Science of the Embassy of Finland in Singapore, for a visit focused on exploring potential areas of cooperation and learning more about the University’s academic strengths and initiatives.
During the meeting, representatives from the College of Nursing (CON) and the Institute of Education (IOE) presented their respective programs, highlighting key initiatives, academic offerings, and institutional strengths.
The discussion opened opportunities for possible collaboration between MCU and the Finland Embassy in Singapore, particularly in areas such as academic exchange, capacity-building, and innovative learning approaches. Both parties also explored ways to strengthen international engagement and support collaborative educational initiatives.
The visit reflects MCU’s ongoing commitment to internationalization by building meaningful partnerships that enhance academic development, innovation, and global learning opportunities for students and faculty.
