The MCU College of Pharmac, in partnership with the External Affairs Office, successfully conducted “Afternoon Tea with Our Partners: A Celebration of Valued Internship Partnerships AY 2025–2026,” a recognition and engagement event dedicated to honoring the University’s internship partners that support the experiential training of pharmacy students.

The event provided a meaningful platform to express gratitude to partner institutions whose guidance and collaboration contribute significantly to the professional development of future pharmacists. Through a formal yet intimate gathering, representatives from various internship sites were recognized for their continued commitment to providing students with valuable real-world learning experiences.

The program featured a welcome ceremony, recognition of partner institutions, networking opportunities, and an afternoon tea reception designed to foster stronger relationships and encourage continued collaboration between the University and its industry partners.

Representatives from community, industrial, institutional, hospital, public health, and regulatory pharmacy practice sectors attended the event, reflecting the diverse experiential learning opportunities available to MCU pharmacy students.

Among the recognized partners were Mercury Drug Corporation, Watsons Personal Care Stores (Philippines), Inc., South Star Drug, Apotheca Integrative Pharmacy, E. L. The event underscored the importance of collaboration between academia and industry in preparing future pharmacists for professional practice. Through these partnerships, students gain hands-on experience, practical skills, and exposure to diverse areas of pharmacy, enabling them to become competent and compassionate healthcare professionals.
