The MCU College of Optometry successfully underwent a monitoring visit conducted by the Professional Regulatory Board of Optometry last April 21, 2026.
Following the assessment, the Board concluded that the College of Optometry has successfully maintained its compliance with the standards established by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), affirming the College’s commitment to quality education and continuous improvement.
The monitoring visit was led by Chairperson Hon. Christine A. Samson-Rodriguez, accompanied by Board Member Hon. Fides Masanga and PRC Representative Ms. Anamyline Austria.
The visit served as an important evaluation process to ensure that the College continues to uphold the required standards in areas related to academic quality, instructional delivery, facilities, and program implementation.
This achievement highlights the dedication of the College of Optometry faculty, administrators, and staff in maintaining excellence in optometric education and preparing future professionals equipped with the competencies needed in the field.
