The MCU College of Dentistry successfully conducted its Stakeholders’ Consultative Meeting for the DMD Program Curriculum Review toward a Future-Ready Dentista Centralino on June 2, 2026, bringing together key stakeholders from government, professional organizations, and the private sector.
The consultative meeting formed part of the College’s continuing efforts to enhance the Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) curriculum and ensure that it remains responsive to the evolving needs of the dental profession and the healthcare industry.
Representatives from the Department of Health (DOH), Department of Education (DepEd), Professional Regulatory Board of Dentistry (PRC), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine Dental Association (PDA), Hospital Dentists Association of the Philippines (HDAP), Private School Dentists Association of the Philippines (PSDAP), National Association of Dental Traders, Inc. (NADTI), and GAOC Group of Companies participated in the discussions, sharing valuable insights and recommendations for curriculum enhancement.
The consultation provided an opportunity for the College to engage its stakeholders in meaningful dialogue on emerging trends, industry expectations, professional competencies, and the future direction of dental education.
