The MCU Supremo Swimming Team showcased an impressive display of skill and determination at the Xavier Cup 2026, held on June 6, 2026, at Xavier School.
Competing against talented swimmers from various schools, the Supremos secured multiple podium finishes across several events, highlighting the depth and strength of the program.
Lance Lopez delivered a remarkable performance, earning championships in the 100m Breaststroke, 200m Individual Medley, and 50m Breaststroke, while also securing runner-up finishes in the 50m Backstroke, 50m Butterfly, 100m Freestyle, 100m Backstroke, and 50m Freestyle.
Janina Beatrice Casado also shone in the competition, capturing first-place finishes in the 200m Individual Medley, 100m Backstroke, and 50m Breaststroke. She further added silver-medal finishes in the 200m Freestyle, 50m Backstroke, 100m Breaststroke, 100m Freestyle, and 50m Freestyle.
Reese Ann Fuentes demonstrated exceptional form, claiming gold medals in the 100m Butterfly and 50m Freestyle. She also earned silver medals in the 50m Butterfly, 100m Backstroke, and 50m Breaststroke, along with bronze-medal finishes in the 200m Freestyle, 50m Backstroke, and 100m Freestyle.
Margaret Ann Samson recorded notable performances, highlighted by a silver-medal finish in the 100m Backstroke, a fourth-place finish in the 50m Butterfly, and a fifth-place finish in the 100m Butterfly, while competing strongly in several other events.
Edryn Andrei Terrenal secured a gold medal in the 200m Freestyle and recorded multiple top-five finishes, including fourth place in the 50m Backstroke, 100m Breaststroke, and 100m Backstroke, as well as fifth place in the 100m Freestyle.
