Manila Central University (MCU), through the Community Relations Office (CRO), in partnership with the College of Arts and Sciences – Psychology Department and the Student Affairs and Services – Guidance and Counseling Office , successfully held the “Usapang Kalusugang Pangkaisipan” on October 29, 2025.
The activity aimed to promote mental health awareness and emotional well-being among community members through engaging discussions and interactive sharing sessions.
A total of 38 participants from Brgy. 143, Caloocan City and Brgy. Maysilo, Malabon City took part in the session, which provided an open and supportive environment for learning practical ways to care for one’s mental health. Facilitators from MCU led insightful discussions on managing stress, fostering emotional resilience, and supporting others within their communities.
This initiative reflects MCU’s continued advocacy for holistic well-being and its strong partnership with local communities, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 3 – Good Health and Well-being and SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals.
Through programs like Usapang Kalusugang Pangkaisipan, MCU reaffirms its mission to champion mental wellness, encourage empathy, and promote meaningful conversations that build healthier, more connected communities.
