The Supremos Pep Rally 2025 brought the Centennial Gymnasium to life as Manila Central University (MCU) gathered its students, athletes, faculty, and staff for a spirited celebration of unity, sportsmanship, and Centralino pride.
Held on October 8, 2025, with the theme “Transcend: Beyond Limits, Toward Victory,” the event symbolized determination, teamwork, and the shared pursuit of excellence within the MCU community.
The rally opened with the Parade of Athletes, led by drumbeaters and the MCU Drum and Lyre Corps, followed by an energetic opening AVP that introduced MCU’s official sports teams and showcased their preparation for the upcoming season. The MCU Chorale led the invocation and national anthems of the Philippines, setting a proud tone for the event.
In his message, the University President encouraged athletes to continue striving for greatness both on and off the court. The crowd erupted during the Spirit Building Segment, where the Pep Squad led students in the official “Supremos” cheer, followed by the much-awaited crowd cheer-off between colleges and departments.
The presentation of teams introduced MCU’s representatives in volleyball, basketball, badminton, table tennis, swimming, taekwondo, juniors’ basketball, and the Pep Squad—each athlete embodying passion and perseverance. The Torch of Transcendence lighting ceremony and Oath of Sportsmanship inspired everyone to uphold integrity and unity throughout the sports season.
Adding excitement were the raffle draws, audience games, and the Pep Squad’s hype performance, which had the entire gym roaring in support.
The Supremos Pep Rally 2025 stood as a celebration not just of sports, but of the MCU spirit—one that continues to transcend limits, champion excellence, and inspire victory in every Centralino.
