Manila Central University (MCU) formally entered into a partnership with the UNESCO Entrepreneurship Education Network Philippines (EE-NET PH) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on April 23, 2025, at Thames International.
Representing MCU at the signing were Dr. Renato C. Tanchoco, Jr., University President; Ms. Mary Grace C. Antioquia, Head of the External Affairs Office; Ms. Giandelu Carissa E. Santos, AVP for Academics; Dr. Eivin B. Tolentino, Dean of the School of Business and Management; and Dr. Lea Aquino, Program Chair for Business Administration.
MCU joins a distinguished group of institutions, including Chiang Kai Shek College, La Salle Green Hills, Miriam College, University of the Cordilleras, and St. Scholastica’s Academy of Marikina, in advancing inclusive and future-ready entrepreneurship education aligned with national and global development goals.
The partnership highlights a shared commitment to promoting curriculum development, academic exchange, capacity building, and research, while empowering faculty and students to actively engage in entrepreneurship initiatives.
As an institutional member of UNESCO EE-NET PH, MCU will contribute to and benefit from a dynamic network of educational institutions across the Asia-Pacific region, all working together to foster entrepreneurial mindsets and sustainable economic growth.
This milestone strengthens MCU’s vision of producing future-ready Centralinos who are globally competitive and innovation-driven.
