Manila Central University (MCU) proudly participated in the Philippine Marketing Association’s (PMA) 4th General Membership Meeting, held on July 2, 2025, at Hotel Benilde Maison De La Salle. Themed “Data to Empathy: Using Artificial Intelligence to Understand Filipino Customers,” the event brought together marketing professionals, industry leaders, and academic institutions to explore the intersection of AI, data, and consumer insights.
A key highlight of the program was the Induction Ceremony for PMA’s New Members, marking a significant milestone in the association’s continued efforts to strengthen inclusive, cross-sectoral collaboration in marketing.
MCU officially became a member of the Philippine Marketing Association during the ceremony. Representing the university was Dr. Lea A. Aquino, Program Chair for Business Administration, who was formally inducted into the organization. She was joined by Ms. Mary Grace C. Antioquia, Head of the External Affairs Office, in support of MCU’s strategic push toward deeper industry engagement and innovation.
By joining the PMA, MCU strengthens its connection to national marketing leaders and reaffirms its mission to promote excellence in marketing education, research, and practice—ensuring that Centralino learners remain future-ready and industry-connected.
This new partnership marks another step in MCU’s commitment to nurturing collaborative pathways between academia and the business sector.
