Manila Central University (MCU), through the Library Services Office, successfully conducted the Northern Manila Library Network (NorMaLiNk) MOU Signing Ceremony on December 12, 2025, at the President’s Conference Room, 4th Floor of the Learning Resource Center (LRC).
The signing marked the formal renewal of the NorMaLiNk consortium, first established in 2019, bringing together partner institutions committed to collaboration in library services and academic resource sharing. Six years after its inception, representatives from nine participating schools reconvened to renew their partnership and discuss the evolving landscape of library services and engagement.
The participating institutions included:
- De La Salle Araneta University
- Global Reciprocal Colleges
- La Consolacion College–Novaliches
- Manila Central University
- Our Lady of Fatima University–Valenzuela
- San Jose Academy–Navotas
- University of the East–Caloocan
- WCC Aeronautical and Technological College–Caloocan
- Manuel L. Quezon University
During the ceremony, representatives shared updates on their respective library initiatives and explored opportunities to widen the scope and impact of NorMaLiNk through resource sharing, professional collaboration, and joint activities.
NorMaLiNk President Mr. Michael S. Rivera and Vice President Ms. Anabel C. Jornacion expressed their appreciation for the continued partnership and their enthusiasm for strengthening cooperation among member libraries. The event concluded with a brief visit to MCU’s newly inaugurated Administration Building.
Through initiatives like NorMaLiNk, MCU reaffirms its commitment to academic excellence, collaboration, and the continuous development of library services in support of teaching, learning, and research.
