Manila Central University (MCU) proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of its College of Optometry, which once again demonstrated academic excellence in the October 2025 Optometry Licensure Examination.
The university achieved a 100% passing rate—with 54 out of 54 first-time takers and 55 out of 55 overall examinees successfully passing the exam—surpassing the national passing rate of 94.7%. This exceptional result marks the second consecutive year that MCU has been recognized as a Top Performing School in Optometry by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
Adding to this milestone, two Centralinos earned spots among the Top 10 examinees nationwide:
- Dr. Lester Anthony D. Camu – Top 7
- Dr. Denielle Q. Deligero – Top 8
These accomplishments reflect the university’s continued dedication to providing quality education and hands-on clinical training that prepare students to excel in their professional practice and contribute meaningfully to the field of optometry.
