On August 16, 2025, Manila Central University (MCU), in partnership with BDO Foundation, successfully launched the first-ever Financial Literacy Program at the Our Lady of Lujan, Brgy. 143.
The session, attended by community members, aimed to strengthen financial awareness and provide practical skills in budgeting, saving, and responsible money management. Through engaging discussions and activities, participants gained insights on how to make smarter financial decisions that support both personal and family goals.
This collaborative effort highlights MCU’s commitment to community empowerment and sustainable development, as well as BDO Foundation’s mission to promote financial education nationwide.
The program marks the beginning of more joint initiatives designed to equip communities with the knowledge and confidence to manage their finances wisely.
