Manila Central University (MCU) is proud to announce that our institution has earned Reporter Status in the Times Higher Education (THE) Asia University Rankings 2025.
This recognition reflects MCU’s growing presence in the international academic community and reaffirms our commitment to excellence in education, research, and institutional development. Being listed among the Reporter institutions highlights our university’s continuous efforts to meet global standards and strengthen our academic impact across the region.
The THE Asia University Rankings 2025 evaluate universities based on five key areas: Teaching (24.5%), Research Environment (28%), Research Quality (30%), International Outlook (7.5%), and Industry Income (10%). A total of 18 carefully calibrated performance indicators are used to assess institutions’ performance, offering a balanced and comprehensive comparison trusted by students, academics, industry leaders, and governments across Asia.
With this achievement, MCU is even more motivated to further enhance our programs, research initiatives, and community engagement activities as we work toward joining the ranks of Asia’s top universities in the coming years.
