As part of its ongoing community engagement efforts, the Community Relations Office (CRO) of Manila Central University spearheaded the health advocacy activity “Malusog na Atay, Masayang Buhay!” on January 29, 2026, in line with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
The initiative was conducted in partnership with the Caloocan City Health Department – Social Hygiene Clinic, with the goal of increasing public awareness on liver cancer, viral hepatitis, and HIV—key health concerns that require early prevention and informed action.
Through health education sessions and open discussions, participants were encouraged to prioritize preventive care, early screening, and overall well-being. The activity also offered free HIV testing, making essential health services more accessible to community members.
This CRO-led initiative highlights MCU’s commitment to fostering healthier communities through education, collaboration, and strong partnerships with local health institutions. By working hand in hand with community stakeholders, MCU continues to promote inclusive and sustainable health programs that create lasting impact.
