Manila Central University (MCU), through its College of Medicine, in collaboration with the Philippine Society of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (PSO-HNS) and the MCU-FDTMF Hospital Department of Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, successfully conducted the ENT Care Catalogue Activity on October 18, 2025, at Multipurpose Hall C.
The activity served as a platform to present the ENT Care Catalogue to MCU’s community partners, providing valuable information on the prevention, diagnosis, and management of common ear, nose, and throat (ENT) conditions. A total of 25 participants from Brgy. 143, Caloocan City, and Brgy. Maysilo, Malabon City attended the session.
Led by specialists from PSO-HNS and the MCU-FDTMF Hospital, the program emphasized the importance of early detection and community education in addressing ENT health concerns. Faculty and students from the College of Medicine also contributed by facilitating learning sessions and promoting health literacy among participants.
This initiative, supported by the Community Relations Office (CRO), demonstrates MCU’s continuing commitment to Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 3 – Good Health and Well-being and SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals, reinforcing the university’s mission to extend quality health care education and service to the community.
Through programs like the ENT Care Catalogue, MCU continues to bridge healthcare expertise and community empowerment—ensuring that wellness and awareness reach every home.
