Manila Central University’s BA Communication students had an enriching educational experience during their TV5 Media Network tour on October 30, 2025. The activity aimed to deepen students’ understanding of the network’s history, daily operations, and contributions to promoting public awareness and nation-building through responsible journalism and creative broadcasting.
Guided by TV5 professionals, students were given a behind-the-scenes look at various departments, including news production, creative content development, and technical broadcasting. The immersive experience provided them with valuable perspectives on how collaboration, ethics, and innovation drive success in the media industry.
The activity was organized by the BA Communication Program, in partnership with TV5 Media Network, as part of its mission to bridge classroom learning with real-world media practice.
Through this visit, MCU continues to strengthen industry linkages that inspire students to become competent, ethical, and socially aware communicators—ready to tell stories that matter and make an impact in society.
