Dugong Alay, Dugtong Buhay: MCU's Bloodletting Project Exemplifies the Power of Human Compassion and Generosity


Manila Central University held a fantastic initiative that exemplifies the power of human compassion and generosity. The event, called "Dugong Alay, Dugtong Buhay: A Bloodletting Project," was organized by MCU-National Service Training Program in collaboration with the Red Cross Youth Council - MCU Chapter, Red Cross - Caloocan Chapter, and MCU Hospital brought together individuals who were willing to give the gift of life through blood donation.


The event aimed to collect blood bags to support patients needing blood transfusions, and it was open to anyone who wanted to donate. It was open to anyone who wanted to donate and started with a brief introduction to safe blood donation practices. It was an incredible opportunity for the community to come together and help save lives.
