The Manila Central University was proud with the remarkable achievement of the MCU-College of Nursing researchers at the 5th IICSDGS International Interdisciplinary Conference on Sustainable Development Goals last September 30-October 1, 2022.
Development Goals. Their research paper entitled "Fallen Heroes: The Lived Experience of Nurse Survivors during the COVID-19 Crisis" has been recognized as the Best Conference Paper, adding another feather to their cap of academic excellence.
This study was a testament to the dedication and unwavering heroism of frontline healthcare workers who battled the COVID-19 pandemic's unprecedented challenges. It was a detailed analysis of the struggles, experiences, and mental health of the nurse survivors, the unsung heroes of the pandemic.
