MCU ignites a Welcoming Event for New and Transferee Students

Manila Central University ignited a fresh and vibrant school year for new and transfer students through a Welcome Event last September 30, 2022.

Students from various programs gathered at Centennial Gym for the 'Ignite: Centralino Welcome Event' co-organized by Student Affairs and Services (SAS) and the University Student Council (USC).

Unlike the traditional celebrations, MCU kicked off the ceremony with a modern festive venue set-up and creative booths designed by different student organizations. MCU partners like ZureRX, Keralty, and St. Luke's Medical Center also had booths to show their support for the event.

Also, Dr. Angelo Maduli (VP for Academics) opened the occasion with an insightful and lively message.

Dr. Renato Tanchoco, Jr. (VP for Planning and External Affairs) delivered a special message to the school community in which he revealed and introduced MCU's new branding and developments.

Moreover, the event included ceremonial pinning, student pledges, school tours, organization recruitments, and a welcome party later in the afternoon.

Vice Presidents, Deans, and Heads from different programs were also present at the welcoming ceremony. The celebration marked a new beginning toward excellence as the university reopens to face-to-face classes.

For guidance, please note that MCU adheres to health and safety protocols ensuring that Centralinos enjoyed the event while remaining safe.
