Manila Central University conducted the activity “Pusong Masigla, Ngiting Masaya” on February 28, 2026, in celebration of Philippine Heart Month and Oral Health Month, and in support of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Good Health and Well-Being.
The initiative aimed to raise awareness on the importance of maintaining both heart health and oral health as key components of overall well-being. Community participants were encouraged to adopt healthier lifestyle practices and become more proactive in caring for their health.
The activity was made possible through the collaboration and active involvement of the College of Dentistry, College of Nursing, and College of Pharmacy, whose faculty members and students led the health education and service components of the program for the university’s community partners.
Through interdisciplinary collaboration, the participating colleges shared valuable knowledge and practical guidance on preventive health practices, reinforcing the importance of holistic healthcare.
This initiative reflects Manila Central University’s continuing commitment to promoting community wellness and advancing health education through service-oriented programs that benefit the wider community.
