Students from the MCU-College of Medical Technology participated in the ASEAN Inbound Mobility Program (AIM 2025), marking the college’s 3rd year in this regional collaboration. The program was hosted by Huachiew Chalermprakiet University in Thailand and featured a dynamic blend of academic and cultural experiences.
The program kicked off with online pre-departure sessions from June 16 to 21, covering specialized lectures in hematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and clinical correlations. On-site activities held from June 23 to 28 included cadaveric studies, fertility and forensic lab visits, blood bank and snake farm tours, and hospital exposure. A cultural day at Nong Nooch Botanical Garden deepened participants’ appreciation for Thai heritage and cross-cultural understanding.
The week concluded with a closing ceremony and the awarding of certificates to all participants.
This international immersion strengthened not only professional learning but also ASEAN academic ties, equipping students with broader perspectives and deeper global insights in the field of medical technology.
