Manila Central University (MCU) was proudly recognized at the Partners in Service Celebration 2025, held on August 20, 2025, by the Philippine Red Cross–Caloocan City Chapter. The celebration honored institutions and organizations that have contributed significantly to the Red Cross’s mission across its various programs.
MCU received two prestigious awards:
1, Partners in Service (Fund Generation) Award
2. Blood Service Platinum Award, for contributing over 500 blood units in support of the Red Cross’s life-saving programs.
These recognitions highlight MCU’s commitment to community service, public health, and meaningful partnerships. Through consistent blood donation drives and collaborative efforts, the university continues to play an active role in supporting the health and well-being of communities.
This milestone also reflects MCU’s alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, as the university strengthens its role as a partner in advancing collective well-being and social responsibility.
MCU extends its gratitude to the Philippine Red Cross for the recognition and reaffirms its dedication to being a steadfast partner in service, saving lives, and shaping a healthier nation.
