On September 9, 2025, Manila Central University (MCU) and BDO Foundation, Inc. (BDOF) formally launched a partnership through the Employee Volunteer Program (EVP). This initiative marks a significant step in uniting institutional efforts toward community development and social responsibility.
Through the program, BDO Foundation will mobilize its employee-volunteers to actively participate in various community initiatives spearheaded by MCU. By bringing together the expertise and generosity of BDOF volunteers with MCU’s ongoing projects, the partnership aims to address pressing community needs and sustain long-term impact.
The collaboration reflects the shared mission of both institutions: to provide service that uplifts communities, nurtures positive change, and inspires collective action. MCU’s community-centered programs will now be further enriched by the involvement of BDOF’s committed employee-volunteers, ensuring stronger and wider-reaching outcomes.
This undertaking not only highlights MCU’s dedication to meaningful community engagement but also demonstrates how partnerships between academia and industry can foster transformative growth. Together, MCU and BDO Foundation, Inc. reaffirm their commitment to building a brighter, more inclusive future for the communities they serve.
