On August 7, 2024, the university launched “Oplan Alay Kalinga,” a donation drive and relief operation aimed at assisting families in Brgy. Maysilo, Malabon City, who were severely affected by Typhoon Carina.
The initiative, supported by SM City Grand Central, MCU College of Nursing, MCU-College of Nursing Batch 1974, MCU School of Business and Management, and MCU College of Physical Therapy, provided vital aid and relief to those in need. Thanks to the generous contributions from these partners, the university was able to offer much-needed support during this challenging time.
The collaborative effort exemplifies the university’s commitment to community support and highlights the impact of collective action in times of crisis.
