Manila Central University (MCU) and Universitas Persada Indonesia Y.A.I (UPI Y.A.I) formally established their academic collaboration through a ceremonial Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing held virtually on April 24, 2025.
Representing MCU were Dr. Renato C. Tanchoco, Jr., University President; Dr. Ramil V. Flores, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Ms. Mary Grace C. Antioquia, Head of the External Affairs Office; and Ms. Fatima M. Manalang, Program Chair of BS Psychology.
The MOU sets a strategic framework for cooperation between the two institutions, promoting student and faculty exchanges, joint research activities, conferences, and initiatives for educational development across various disciplines.
The MOA specifically focuses on enhancing collaboration between the MCU College of Arts and Sciences – Psychology and UPI Y.A.I’s Faculty of Psychology, with projects in joint research, curriculum enhancement, community outreach, and cultural exchange.
This international partnership reflects MCU’s ongoing commitment to expanding global academic engagement and enriching the educational experience for the Centralino community, as it moves forward with a vision of creating future-ready graduates equipped for a globalized world.
