Manila Central University proudly congratulates Ira Marie G. Torres, a 6th-year MCU College of Dentistry (COD) student, for winning the 1st ADI-SDI Poster/Research Presentation Contest during the 1st International Scientific Conference of the Academy of Dentistry International, Philippine Section on January 18-19, 2025, at Widus Hotel, Clark, Pampanga.
With the theme “Expanding Horizon,” the competition featured 16 presenters from four universities: Centro Escolar University-Manila, Emilio Aguinaldo College-Manila, University of Baguio, and Manila Central University. Participants responded to questions from a distinguished panel of judges, including Dean Ajiravudh Subambhesaj (Khon Kaen University, Thailand), Dr. Ma. Cristina Morales (National University, Singapore), and Dr. Ma. Liza Centeno (Philippine Pediatric Dentistry Society, Inc.).
MCU celebrates this outstanding achievement and commends Ira Marie G. Torres for her excellence in research and dedication to advancing the field of dentistry.
