Dean Melvin Miranda of MCU-CON Re-elected as President of Philippine Nurses Association


Mr. Melvin Miranda, Dean of the College of Nursing at the Manila Central University, recently took an oath as the re-elected President of the Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) last January 28, 2023. The PNA is an Accredited Professional Organization of Nurses that is recognized by the Professional Regulation Commission and has 95 local chapters, 16 foreign chapters, and about 47,500 members.


Mr. Miranda's appointment was a significant milestone not just for him but also for the MCU community. His leadership in the College of Nursing has helped produce competent and compassionate nurses who have made a positive impact in the healthcare industry. Additionally, his position as PNA President presents an opportunity for him to further contribute to the development of the nursing profession in the Philippines.
