MCU Goes International

With Manila Central University’s (MCU) effort to internationalize its program and promote collaboration with other universities, the Vice President for Planning and External Affairs, Dr. Renato C. Tanchoco, Jr. and the Head of Quality Assurance, Mr. Ronald R. Mendoza paid a courtesy visit to its Thailand partner schools, Boromarajonani College of Nursing and Mahidol University, Ramathibodi School of Nursing, last October 21, 2022.


The Boromarajonani College of Nursing was the first academic Institute established by the Ministry of Public Health. It is renowned for its meticulous teaching and learning methods that combine state-of-the-art learning environments, clinical training, and community involvement to empower students to promote population health in the modern world. By the same token as MCU, both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to upholding their existing collaboration to provide top-notch education and services for the youth.


Furthermore, the MCU management team engaged in a meaningful discussion with Mahidol University officials. Mahidol University is one of the most prestigious universities in Thailand. The institution was acclaimed and recognized throughout the world for its exceptional research, education, and outstanding accomplishments in teaching, research, international academic partnership, and professional services. Moreover, within the bounds of the possibility of this initial communication, Manila Central University is anticipating working with Mahidol University, Ramathibodi School of Nursing to share a mutual goal of delivering high-caliber education.
