Building Hope Together: MCU’s 119th Community Outreach Program

In celebration of its 119th Founding Anniversary, the Manila Central University initiated a Community Outreach Program at St. Joseph Clinic in Barangay Maysilo, Malabon City. This program, with the spirit of giving back, aimed to provide essential health services to those in need, marking a significant milestone in the institution's history. The effort brought together volunteers, health professionals, and the community in a collaborative effort to make a tangible difference in the lives of many.

The 119th Community Outreach Program performed a variety of activities designed to address various health concerns and promote overall wellness among the participants such as free medical check-ups, dental services, vision screening, etc. Gratitude is extended to the university’s generous donors—Southstar Drug, Denpres Dental Depot, Essilor, Malabon City Health Department - Health Promotion Unit, McDonald's, Pocari Sweat, Pascual Laboratories, Prosweal Healthcare, Inc., and Unilab Foundation. These companies’ contributions were crucial in the outreach's success, enabling the provision of medical supplies, health services, and sustenance, thereby ensuring a comprehensive approach to community health and wellness.
