Optometry Ball 2023: Fostering Unity, Talent, and Fun!

On September 26, the College of Optometry at MCU-COO seized the opportunity to showcase diverse talents and foster connections. The event transcended the usual academic routine, bringing together students for a night brimming with excitement and camaraderie.

The festivities started with a warm welcome from Dr. Katherine De Mesa, the esteemed Dean of MCU-COO, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening. The Retro Dance Competition electrified the atmosphere as students took center stage, showcasing their dance prowess and infusing the venue with vibrant energy. Intermission Numbers added to the lively ambiance, ensuring that everyone experienced moments of thrill and enjoyment.

Adding an extra layer of anticipation, the Mr. and Ms. Optometry Ball Candidates Parade captivated the audience as candidates exuded grace and charm, leaving a lasting impression. The Question-and-Answer Portion not only showcased the intellectual depth of the students but also kept the entire audience engaged and on the edge of their seats.

As the night unfolded, another set of intermission numbers elevated the event's excitement, leading up to the highly awaited Crowning and Awarding Ceremony. This pivotal moment saw deserving individuals recognized for their contributions and accomplishments.
