Manila Central University congratulates Kurt Russell Padrinao, PTRP, a graduate of the College of Physical Therapy, for passing the June 2025 Physical Therapist Licensure Examination.
Kurt’s journey to becoming a licensed physical therapist was marked by challenges, long nights, and moments of doubt. From the start, he knew the path he chose wouldn’t be easy—but he remained committed.
“Upon entering college as a Physical Therapy student, I understood that the journey would be challenging. There were sleepless nights, numerous exams, and clinical duties. But I held on to my dream and trusted the process.”
After two unsuccessful attempts at the licensure exam, Kurt chose not to give up. Instead, he used each setback as motivation to keep going, with stronger faith and a deeper drive to achieve his goal.
“Despite failing the board exam twice, I chose to rise and keep going. Each setback taught me resilience, faith, especially the value of perseverance. I gave it one more try. Preparing for the June 2025 board exam was one of the most difficult phases, but also the most rewarding. With God’s grace, support of my family, mentors, and friends—‘third time’s the charm.’ Finally! I’m now a Licensed Physical Therapist. All glory to God!”
Kurt’s story is a powerful reminder that success is not always immediate—but with persistence and belief in the journey, it is always within reach. MCU celebrates this milestone with him and wishes him all the best as he begins his career as a licensed physical therapist.
