The Bachelor of Science in Information technology is the study of how hardware and software may be used to create computing solutions that meet the demands of different end users and organizations.
The Information Technology (IT) program covers a broad range of knowledge areas, from organizational information systems to systems infrastructure, in order to equip graduates with the skills necessary to choose, apply, configure, integrate, deploy, and manage computing technology in order to satisfy user requirements across a wide range of contexts BSIT graduates are well-suited for professions as system administrators, network engineers, information security specialists, technology consultants, and enterprise system specialists because they have good technical, management, and soft skills.
The program prepares students to become IT professionals and Industry Innovators with primary competencies in systems analysis and design, applications development, database administration, network administration, systems implementation and maintenance, and network security administration.
